Instructors

Marie Distasio: owner

"In life, you are given one body; never forget that. Love it, challenge it, and push past your limits."

Marie is a BASI Certified Pilates Instructor, she has been teaching Pilates for 10 years. Marie first found Pilates while training for a half marathon. After becoming injured during training, a physical therapist recommended including Pilates throughout her training to help correct some of the imbalances she was experiencing. Once she gave it a try she was hooked! Marie loves the way Pilates compliments fitness and creates a body awareness and strength that no other form of exercise does. In addition to being a Pilates instructor, she has experience as a Personal Trainer, cycling instructor and certified TRX instructor. Marie believes in focusing on more than just one type of exercise and likes to keep her clients guessing by providing experiences that are challenging, different and most importantly, fun.

Jordan kehoe: studio manager / instructor

Jordan first found her love for Pilates while taking a Pilates course in college! She has always enjoyed running and group fitness, but turned to Pilates after starting to experience pain in her lower back and hip. She loved the low-impact nature of Pilates and the emphasis the practice places on spine and core strength and stability. In 2021, Jordan enrolled in Teacher Training and has fell in love with teaching Pilates ever since. In Jordan’s classes you can expect clear yet creative cues, and will notice her close attention to form and feel her passion for the practice.

When not teaching or practicing in studio, Jordan is spending time with her husband, Alec, and their German Shepard, Lola.

Stacy Hayn: instructor

Stacy is a 30-something new mom trying to build core memories and core strength!

She jumped on a reformer in 2019, and started her teacher training in 2021. It was the first form of fitness she enjoyed, as it challenged both her body and mind.

In 2022, Stacy decided to take a leap of faith (a few months shy of her daughter’s arrival) and leave her career in tech to become a stay at home mom while finishing up her training. It was well worth the jump! Stacy plans to focus on pre-& postnatal, using her own experience to connect with her clients.

Reina: Studio mascot

Rena's Motto: "life is short, live every moment to the fullest"

Reina was introduced to Pilates in 2018 when owner, Marie DiStasio started bringing her to Ab&Flow. With her happy and sweet demeanor she immediately became a permanent fixture as Ab&Flow's Mascot, bringing smiles to clients faces as they walk in the door. Reina takes her job as greeter seriously, welcoming all our clients as they enter the studio. You can also find her in the window keeping a lookout and making fur-friends with pups that walk by.

When Reina is not "working" she is training to become a Therapy Dog, which she puts to good use at the studio for whoever may need a little extra encouragement. Reina is just as active as our clients; she loves going for runs along the lake, chasing birds and taking agility classes.
