Marie Distasio: owner
"In life, you are given one body; never forget that. Love it, challenge it, and push past your limits."
Marie is a BASI Certified Pilates Instructor, she has been teaching Pilates for 10 years. Marie first found Pilates while training for a half marathon. After becoming injured during training, a physical therapist recommended including Pilates throughout her training to help correct some of the imbalances she was experiencing. Once she gave it a try she was hooked! Marie loves the way Pilates compliments fitness and creates a body awareness and strength that no other form of exercise does. In addition to being a Pilates instructor, she has experience as a Personal Trainer, cycling instructor and certified TRX instructor. Marie believes in focusing on more than just one type of exercise and likes to keep her clients guessing by providing experiences that are challenging, different and most importantly, fun.

Preeti attar
Preeti’s passions lie in self-empowerment, strength and longevity. Balancing life as a model and accountant, she discovered Pilates as the ultimate blend of power and precision - a low-impact yet highly effective way to build strength and stability. Living with scoliosis, she found that Pilates not only strengthens but also realigns the body in ways traditional weight training cannot. As an instructor, Preeti’s teaching style is energetic, challenging and deeply intentional. She guides clients through movements designed to sculpt, strengthen and restore. Helping clients to unlock their full potential. Whether working with beginners or advanced students, she meets each client where they are and pushes them to go further mentally and physically. Her greatest reward comes from seeing clients walk away feeling stronger, fully restored and confident.

Kourtney dozier
With over two years of teaching experience, I believe Pilates is truly for every body. My teaching style is relaxed yet confident, creating a supportive space where clients feel comfortable, capable, and empowered in their movement. I focus on helping each person build strength and confidence at their own pace, no matter their background or experience level.
When i’m not in the studio, I’m a proud mom to an adorable 5-year-old boy and spend most of my time caring for our lively crew at home; 10 horses, 2 dogs, and 5 chickens. That same patience, energy, and care shows up in my teaching every day.

Reina: Studio mascot
Rena's Motto: "life is short, live every moment to the fullest"
Reina was introduced to Pilates in 2018 when owner, Marie DiStasio started bringing her to ab&flow. With her happy and sweet demeanor she immediately became a permanent fixture as ab&flow's Mascot, bringing smiles to clients faces as they walk in the door. Reina takes her job as greeter seriously, welcoming all our clients as they enter the studio. You can also find her in the window keeping a lookout and making fur-friends with pups that walk by.
When Reina is not "working" she is training to become a Therapy Dog, which she puts to good use at the studio for whoever may need a little extra encouragement. Reina is just as active as our clients; she loves going for runs along the lake, hiking and chasing birds and taking agility classes.
